Friday Ramblings

Just random thoughts for your Friday!

When is the last time you put gloves in your glove compartment? The kids always seem to have me evaluating some of the names we have for things. When they ask why something has a particular name, sometimes I think "I don't know" or "wow, how long since that was a fitting name?."

They knocked down a local Chili's and DG thought it would be funny to tell the kids it was my favorite restaurant. Now, they keep trying to comfort me over my loss whenever we drive past the site.

Another word Ella says that I can't correct yet- "dribbling" instead of drizzling.

I don't even remember what the last movie I saw in the theater was. And this does not bother me. I get really cheap when it comes to the movies. I'd rather go stuff my face and drink wine or martinis somewhere. Yup.

We leave for vacation on Saturday and are all very excited. Although I must admit, I would be a little more excited if it was to somewhere tropical and maybe even by myself...just for like two days though, I'm not totally awful.

The kids are set up for a 1 week, 9:30-2:30, camp at the end of August and I am already looking forward to it- school has been out for 3 days. What will I even do with all the time? Probably something amazing like laundry and cleaning closets out.

WTH is this weather? It's almost June and I am wearing sweater Uggs today.

I just set a date to get another tattoo and I am so excited for this one. Not spilling on what it is yet and those going with me better not back out. You know who you are...

We went to go see Joshua Radin this week and it was amazing as always. I would never say I have a "thing" for musicians but I swear, I get googly eyes whenever I see him perform. DG is aware and ignores...good man.
